the Company

Land-Grant Brewing Company makes good beer and wants to keep making it better—simple as that. But behind every great brew is a whole system that needs to run smoothly, from storing ingredients to getting the final product out the door. That’s where my team and I came in…

We worked with Land-Grant to improve two key areas: inventory management and production efficiency. Their inventory space was overcrowded, making it hard to access products quickly. Their production line had frequent delays, adding hours of overtime and slowing output. Our goal? Cut down on wasted time, free up space, and help things run 20–30% more efficiently.

the What

We spent weeks gathering data, shadowing employees, and running numbers. We found that, on average, only a certain number storage footprints were needed for near-term inventory, yet the space was overloaded. The production line saw delays nearly every day, with certain bottlenecks causing up to 2-hour slowdowns. Our fixes? Reallocating inventory storage, introducing a maintenance plan to reduce jams by at least 50%, and setting up a clearer communication loop between teams.

the Why

With a few key changes, Land-Grant could speed up production, cut down storage clutter, and reduce overtime by 15–20%. The brewery saves time, employees work more smoothly, and operations flow without last-minute scrambling. More efficiency, less stress—so they can focus on making great beer.
